The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) (Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan) issued on 1 March 2018 the EAEU Technical Regulation TP EAEU 037/2016 "On the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Radio Products" for a transitional period of 2 years until 1 March 2020.

The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) (Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan) issued on 1 March 2018 the EAEU Technical Regulation TP EAEU 037/2016 "On the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Radio Products" for a transitional period of 2 years until 1 March 2020.


In other words, from March 1, 2020, the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) for the export of electronic and electrical equipment must compulsorily comply with the requirements of the Technical Law on the Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electronic and Electrical Products (RoHS) - EAEU TR 037/2016 for RoHS certification.


The EAEU RoHS test range consists of 12 categories of products.

1. Electrical equipment and household appliances.

2. Electronic computers and peripherals.

3. Information and communication equipment (information and communication equipment terminals).

4. Photocopiers and other electronic office equipment.

5. Power tools (manual and portable motors).

6. Light sources and lighting equipment, including those built into furniture.

7. Electronic musical instruments.

8. Games and vending machines.

9. Cash registers, ticket printers, identity card readers, ATMs, information kiosks.

10. Cables, wires (except fibre optic cables) for use in AC and/or DC with a rated voltage not exceeding 500V.

11. Automatic switches and leakage circuit breakers.

12. Fire, security and fire safety alarm detectors.

EAEU RoHS controlled substances and limit values are in line with EU RoHS 6, including Pb, Hg, Cd, Cr6+, PBB, PBDE, except Cd limit value is 0.01%, all other substances limit value is 0.1%.


EAEU rohs testing process.

Step 1: the customer provides the product picture and BOM sheet (bill of materials) and application form.

Step 2: WorldCom Laboratories makes a quotation based on the information provided.

Step 3: Client confirms the offer, signs the application form and service agreement,and the project fee is paid in full, and test samples are prepared.

Step 4: The client arranges for samples to be sent to the laboratory for testing.

Step 5: The test is passed, the report is completed, the project is completed and the ROHS test report is issued.
